Autoclave Test Strips
Test strips for autoclaves help provide assurance that the sterilization process has been sucessful. The strips contain a pigmented area which undergoes a colour change when the strip has been exposed to steam at 134 centigrade for 3.5 minutes. The strips can be placed in trays containing instruments or when using a vacuum sterilizer, sealed inside a sterilization pouch along with an instrument.
